dc.description.abstract	El trabajo aplicativo presentado en el contenido de la monografía, se enfoca y orienta a los lectores a conocer y tener un poco de claridad en algunos procedimientos y metodología a seguir para el recibo de un activo estructurado desde su inicio hasta la fase de operación en modalidad BOMT por sus siglas en ingles (Build, Operation, Maintenance y Transfer). Esto se traduce especialmente en el como realizar la gestión y seguimiento de estos contratos y desarrollar el recibo definitivo de una manera oportuna, eficiente y eficaz para beneficio de las partes involucradas en el contrato y representar el mejor negocio para las compañías propietarias del activo. Los contratos BOMT, nacen de la necesidad de un país como Colombia que en los años 80 y 90 necesitaban desarrollar su infraestructura de transporte de gas natural y proporcionar a la sociedad el servicio confiable del transporte del hidrocarburo, tanto para la industria, comercio, vehicular y domiciliario. El sistema de construcción, operación, mantenimiento y transferencia, resulta ser la mejor opción para que con capital extranjero, se complemente el plan de masificación de gas natural en Colombia y se amplíe el transporte a lo largo y ancho del territorio nacional. Así las cosas, se estructuró un proyecto de recibo para una infraestructura en la modalidad de BOMT, el cual se aplico con éxito en la compañía correspondiente y resulto ser una alternativa efectiva y eficiente para el feliz termino contractual en dicha modalidad, garantizando la continuidad del servicio publico y por consiguiente el transporte de gas natural a las diferentes localidades.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The content presented in the monograph is focused and targets the audience to have clear understanding of the procedures and methodology to take an asset from beginning to operation, Build Operation, Maintenance and Transfer (BOMT). The process is oriented to follow up on the procurement process and the turnover and commission efficiently, and with the highest benefit to all parties involved in the contract, also to benefit the owner of the asset. BOMT contracts were created to fulfil the need of a country like Colombia. The country in the 80’s and 90’s struggle to develop “Liquid Natural Gas” (LNG) infrastructure and needed to supply a reliable service to the community. The LNG is used for industrial, commercial, residential and transportation applications. The approach to construction, operation, maintenance and transfer, happens to be the best option to attract international investors, to complement the growth plan for LNG and to expand the transportation across the nation. Therefore, a project was developed commission an infrastructure with the BOMT delivery method, it was fully executed by the company and it turned out to be an effective alternate and efficient to the contract completion with this delivery method, to guarantied the continue public service and following the natural gas transportation to located different.
