| dc.description.abstract | Los lineamientos pedagógicos para el nivel de educación preescolar, planteados por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional se fundamentan en una visión integral de todas las dimensiones del desarrollo del niño: ética, estética, corporal, cognitiva, comunicativa, socioafectiva y espiritual. Cabe destacar que la dimensión socioafectiva se convierte en la base para la consolidación de su subjetividad; se requiere entonces que el maestro propenda por la formación de la autoestima del niño, con una nueva concepción de sus prácticas pedagógicas para favorecer su desarrollo socioafectivo. En este sentido se aborda el problema investigativo, a través de un tipo de Investigación cualitativa, apoyada en la etnografía, el cual permitió caracterizar las concepciones y prácticas de los maestros de educación preescolar ante la formación de la autoestima en el niño, identificando aspectos que favorecen u obstaculizan su desarrollo; permitiendo de esta forma realizar aportes relevantes encaminados a la reflexión del maestro sobre su práctica, facilitando el desarrollo de procesos y actividades que potencien la autoestima. De la misma manera, se convierte en un aporte importante para el proyecto de investigación “Diseño de un software educativo para la potenciación de la autoestima en los niños en la primera infancia1 que fue avalado por Colciencias y la Asociación Colombiana para el Avance y la Ciencia. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The pedagogical guidelines set by the ministry of education for pre-school educations are based on a comprehensive vision of all aspects of the child`s development: ethical, esthetic, corporal, cognitive, communicative socio – affective and spiritual. It should be emphasized that the socio-affective dimension becomes the basis that consolidates the child`s subjectivity; thus, the teacher needs to focus on forming the child`s self-esteem, by having a new conception of his pedagogical practices that foster the socio-affective development. The research problem was approached from this point of view, via qualitative research supported by ethnography. This allowed the conceptions and practices of pre-school educations teachers regarding the formation of self – esteem in children to be described by identifying aspects that favored or impeded its development. In this way relevant contributions were made, directed towards reflections on teaching practice by the teachers themselves which facilitate the development of processes and activities that strengthen self-esteem. Similary, this study becomes an important contribution for the research project developed in the Faculty of Education of the University of Pamplona: “Educational Software Design to Strengthen Self-esteem in infants”. This project was approved by Colciencias and the Colombian Association for Advancement and Science. | |
