| dc.description.abstract | El manejo adecuado e integral de los residuos hospitalarios es necesario por los diferentes impactos ambientales negativos y el ciclo de enfermedades que pueden llegar a generar los desechos clasificados como peligroso, en las diferentes etapas de su proceso como lo son: segregación, almacenamiento, tratamiento, recolección, transporte y disposición final. El ser un generador de residuos peligrosos como lo es la Facultad de Salud de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, al desarrollar una variedad de actividades a escala pedagógica, científica y de prestación social a la comunidad con el uso directo de sustancias químicas y elementos biológicos; hace necesario la implementación de un plan de gestión, no importando el desconocimiento de la normatividad que obliga al generador de una responsabilidad compartida con el estado. El Ministerio de salud y Medio Ambiente dicta la normatividad con el Decreto 2676 de 2000 y posteriormente la reglamentación con la resolución 01164 de 2002 que el Manual de procedimientos para la gestión integral de los residuos hospitalarios; creando los estándares para el manejo efectivo de los residuos peligrosos. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The suitable and integral handling of the hospitable remainders is necessary for the different negative environmental impacts and the cycle from diseases which can generate the remainders classified like dangerous, in the different stages from its process; for example: segregation, storage, treatment, harvesting, transport and final disposition. Being a generator of dangerous remainders like the Faculty of Health of the Industrial University from Santander, and when developing a variety of activities on pedagogical, scientific scale and of social benefit to the community with the direct use of chemical substances and biological elements; they make the implementation necessary of a management plan, without the ignorance of the normatively that forces to the generator of a responsibility shared with the state. The Ministry of Health and Environment dictates the normatively with decree 2676 of the 2000 and the regulation with the resolution 01164 of 2002 of the Manual of procedures for the integral management of the hospitable remainders; creating the standards for the effective handling of the dangerous remainders. | |
