dc.description.abstract	La competitividad en la industria de la moda, ha hecho que las empresas busquen nuevas opciones para implementar herramientas y métodos que les permitan reducir los costos, maximizar sus materiales y aumentar su productividad, sin dejar de lado la calidad y esencia del producto. Esto sumando a la responsabilidad social medioambiental, ha hecho que empresas como Chic Marroquinería LTDA deseen invertir en la implementación de nuevas metodologías y procesos para la optimización de sus recursos, especialmente en el uso de las pieles, las cuales como principal materia prima son aquellas que elevan los costes de producción. Los beneficios de la automatización de procesos por medio de herramientas CAD y la planeación estratégica del diseño de los productos, brindan una posible solución a los problemas de optimización de materias primas y reducción de tiempos en producción, es por esto que para el desarrollo del proyecto se propone la implementación de diferentes metodologías y tecnologías para validar el uso de nuevos sistemas en la industria de la marroquinería. La realización del proyecto busca usar el diseño como ente integrador entre el desarrollo del producto, la producción y los recursos de la empresa, rediseñando los procesos productivos de la empresa que están involucrados directa e indirectamente con la generación de residuos en el área de corte, mediante un sistema de tareas complementaria
dc.description.abstractenglish	The competitiveness in the fashion industry has done that the companies look for new options to implement tools and methods that allow them to reduce costs, maximize their materials and increase productivity but without ignoring the quality and essence of the product. In addition to the social environmental responsibility, it has done that companies like Chic Marroquinería LTDA want to invest in the implementation of new processes for the optimization of his resources, especially in the use of hides, which as principal raw material are those that raise the costs of production. The benefits of the process automation through tools CAD and the strategic planning of product design, offer a possible solution to the optimization problems of raw materials and increases of the production and reduction of times, that is why for the development of the project will propose the implementation of different methodologies and technologies to validate the use of new systems in the leatherworking industry. The accomplishment of the project seeks to use the design as of integration entity between the product development, the production and the company resources, redesigning the productive processes of the company that are directly and indirectly involved with the generation of waste in the cutting area, through a system of complementary tasks.
