dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de grado es el resultado de la Práctica Jurídica Social desarrollada en la Corporación para el Desarrollo del Oriente COMPROMISO cuyo objetivo principal fue el acompañamiento jurídico y defensa del territorio de municipios afectados por los impactos de la Industria Minera en el Departamento de Santander, Colombia. De este modo, se realizará un análisis de la información y las herramientas técnico-jurídicasdel Observatorio de Conflictos Ambientales de la Corporación, así como proyectar accionesjurídicas en protección del territorio y las comunidades que lo habitan. Por último, teniendo encuenta la sistematización de la práctica jurídica social se realizará un ejemplar de Cartilla Práctica dirigido a la comunidad con el fin de explicar los impactos de la industria minera, el papel de las entidades del Estado y la forma de exigir los Derechos Humanos y del Medio Ambiente.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This thesis presents the results of the Social Legal Practice conducted at the Corporation for the Development of the East – COMPROMISO. The main objective of the project was to provide legal support and strengthen territorial defense in municipalities affected by the impacts of the mining industry in the Department of Santander, Colombia. The research includes an analysis of the information and technical-legal tools developed by the Corporation’s Environmental Conflict Observatory, as well as the design of legal strategies aimed at protecting the territory and the communities that inhabit it. Additionally, as part of the systematization of the social legal practice, a Practical Guide was created for community use, explaining the environmental and social impacts of the mining industry, the responsibilities of State institutions, and the mechanisms available to claim and protect Human and Environmental Rights.
