dc.description.abstract	Al sur de la Serranía de San Lucas, en el departamento de Bolívar, la deforestación y la transformación de los ecosistemas continúa, amenazando la integridad de uno de los últimos refugios de biodiversidad al norte de Colombia. Conocer y tomar registros de las especies de aves que habitan la zona permitirán conocer mejor la biodiversidad que puede estar siendo amenazada por este proceso antrópico, permitiendo así que se generen esfuerzos de conservación. En este trabajo, se documentan las especies resultado de recolectas de avifauna y métodos complementarios como observaciones y grabaciones de audio, en las zonas boscosas de la vereda Santo Domingo, Cantagallo, Bolívar. Cubriendo un área de 4 km2 y tras un esfuerzo de muestreo de 707 horas red, así como recolectas adicionales con pistola de aire, se capturaron alrededor de 500 aves de las cuales se recolectaron 266 individuos pertenecientes a 77 especies, 25 familias y 12 órdenes, de donde se obtuvieron también tejidos para futuros análisis moleculares. La serie completa se ingresó en la Colección Ornitológica de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Se observaron 131 especies (87 no recolectadas) y en las grabaciones se identificaron 2 especies que no fueron recolectadas ni observadas. A pesar del alto grado de intervención antrópica en la zona, estos bosques mantienen una avifauna diversa y representativa de los Bosques Húmedos del Magdalena Medio Colombiano. Este trabajo aporta a la caracterización de la biota en la zona, conectando vacíos de conocimiento ornitológico, y por su énfasis en la recolecta de especímenes y tejidos, fortalece una de las colecciones científicas del país, a partir de la cual es posible realizar otros tipos de estudios (e.g., análisis de variación fenotípica y genotípica).
dc.description.abstractenglish	South of the Serranía de San Lucas, in the department of Bolívar, deforestation and the transformation of ecosystems continues, threatening the integrity of one of the last refuges of biodiversity in northern Colombia. Knowing and taking records of the bird species that inhabit the area will allow a better understanding of the biodiversity that may be threatened by this anthropic process, thus allowing conservation efforts to be generated. In this work, the species resulting from bird collections and complementary methods such as observations and audio recordings are documented in the forested areas of Santo Domingo, Cantagallo, Bolívar. Covering an area of 4 km2 and after a sampling effort of 707 net hours, as well as additional collections with an air pistol, around 500 birds were captured, of which 266 individuals belonging to 77 species, 25 families and 12 orders were collected, from where tissues were also obtained for future molecular analysis. The complete series was cataloged in the Ornithological Collection of the Industrial University of Santander. 131 species were observed (87 not collected) and in the recordings 2 species were identified that were neither collected nor observed. despite the high degree of anthropic intervention in the area, these forests maintain a diverse and representative birdlife of the Humid Forests of the Colombian Middle Magdalena. This work contributes to the characterization of the biota in the area, connecting gaps in ornithological knowledge, and due to its emphasis on the collection of specimens and tissues, strengthens one of the country's scientific collections, from which it is possible to carry out other types of studies (eg, analysis of phenotypic and genotypic variation).
