dc.description.abstract	En la novela La herencia de Eszter del autor húngaro Sándor Márai, se ubican diversas problemáticas de orden humano, una de ellas se refiere a la memoria, medio a través del que todo hombre suele añorar lo acontecido en un tiempo pasado; ya sea por grato o por ingrato. Junto con la posibilidad de recordar está la de olvidar, condición que también asiste al hombre y a la que éste acude cuando desea deshacerse de aquello que le signifique algún malestar. Estas funciones de la memoria: la del recuerdo y el olvido han sido exploradas tanto por el mundo de la filosofía como por el mundo de la ficción, para el caso del título indicado al iniciar estas líneas. Podría decirse que la novela La herencia de Eszter apuesta a una reconstrucción del recuerdo, el que es conservado por su protagonista en tanto acude a la escritura, recurso donde se hace imborrable el pasado glorioso o pesaroso. Sobre la memoria y su medio para mantenerla: la escritura, versa el trabajo aquí desarrollado, cuyos alcances dan cuenta de la relación Filosofía- Literatura, centro de reflexión de las presentes páginas y que tienen por objetivo el desarrollo del siguiente interrogante: ¿Se presenta la escritura como un elemento indispensable para mantener la memoria en la novela La herencia de Eszter de Sándor
dc.description.abstractenglish	In the novel La herencia de Eszter by the Hungarian author Sándor Márai are located various problems of human order, one of them refers to the memory, bridge through which everybody may to long for what happened in a past time, either for pleasant or unpleasant . Along with the ability to remember is the ability to forget, condition that also attends to men and he use when wishes to get rid of something that may have caused him discomfort. Both memory functions: the remembrance and forgetfulness have been explored by the fiction world, for the case of the title given to start these lines. Could say the novel La herencia de Eszter bets on a reconstruction of memory, which is retained by the main character who comes to writing, resort where is unforgettable the past glorious or sorrowful. The present disquisition, entitled about the memory and its element to keep: writing, deals with the work developed here, the scope of which account for the relationship Philosophy-Literature, center of thoughts of these pages and which are aimed at developing the following question: Is the writing an essential element at keeping the memory in the novel La herencia de Eszter by Sándor Márai?
