| dc.description.abstract | En este documento se presenta la bioestratigrafía con base a foraminíferos planctónicos del intervalo 2110' a 5620' del pozo Remolino Grande Œ 1, el cual esta ubicado en la subcuenca de Tumaco: Pacífico colombiano. Del pozo se tomaron 47 muestras de zanja húmeda, de éstas se tomaron 34 para realizar el estudio taxonómico de los foraminíferos. Los foraminíferos son ampliamente utilizados en prospecciones petroleras, como indicadores de la edad geológica relativa de los sedimentos (biocronología). Se identificaron 10 géneros y 45 especies de foraminíferos planctónicos y 30 géneros de foraminíferos bentónicos. Con esta información se genero la carta de dispersión de foraminíferos planctónicos y a partir de esta se establecen dos zonas, la primera de edad Oligoceno (P21) y la segunda Mioceno medio (N8-N10), se identifica un faltante de tiempo correspondiente con las zonas P22 a N7 el cual se atribuye al hiato P22 a N4 reportado para la región y al cambio facial entre las formaciones Viche y Cayapas, que no permitió el registro de estas biozonas. Las estimaciones paleobatimétricas con base a la relación entre foraminíferos planctónicos y bentónicos arrojan profundidades de nerítico medio a batial superior, para subcuenca de Tumaco en el Oligoceno-Mioceno. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | In this document the biostratigraphy is presented based on planktonic foraminifera from interval 2110' to 5620' of the well Remolino Grande - 1, the one which this located in the Colombian Pacific's Tumaco subbasin. 47 of humid trench samples were taking of the well; 34 of these were taking to carry out the taxonomic study of the foraminifera. The foraminifera are broadly used in oil prospecting, as indicators of the relative geologic age of the silts (biocronology). 10 genera and 45 species of planktonic foraminifer and 30 genera of benthic foraminifera were identified. With this information was generated the letter of dispersion of planktonic foraminifera and it was established two zones, the first one; of Oligocene age (P21) and the second, middle Miocene (N8-N10). An absent of time corresponding with the zones P22-N7 is identified, which is attributed to the hiatus P22 to N4 reported for the region and to the facial change among the Viche and Cayapas formations that it didn't allow the registration of these biozones. The estimates paleobathymetrics base on the relationship between planktonic and benthic foraminífera throw depths of middle Neritic to upper Bathyal for Tumaco subbasin in the Oligocene-Miocene. | |
