dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto describe el diseño de un sistema de costos para la empresa Imágenes Diagnósticas S.A.S como solución al desconocimiento de los costos unitarios de los diferentes servicios que en ésta se prestan, además como herramienta de apoyo para la toma de decisiones y el establecimiento de nuevas estrategias operativas, comerciales, financieras y administrativas. Este trabajo se compone de cuatro etapas, la primera corresponde al diagnóstico inicial, en ésta se evidencian los procedimientos bajo los que se determina el costo de la prestación del servicio y la manera como se consumen actualmente los recursos; la segunda etapa comprende el diseño del nuevo sistema de costos, éste sistema se genera a partir de la información obtenida en la primera etapa y en búsqueda de la satisfacción de las necesidades informativas de la empresa; en la tercera etapa se realiza el desarrollo del diseño elegido en la etapa anterior, se establecen nuevos métodos para el cálculo del costo e indicadores que permitan determinar el consumo de los recursos por cada uno de los servicios; por último, el sistema se somete a una evaluación en criterios financieros y de relevancia de la información para determinar si éste debe continuar usándose o por el contrario se debe seguir trabajando con la información que se generaba a partir del sistema inicial
dc.description.abstractenglish	The present project describes the design of a cost system for the Company Imágenes Diagnósticas S.A.S as a solution to the lack of knowledge of the unit costs of the different services that it provides, as well as a support tool for the decision-making and the establishment of new operational, commercial, financial and administrative strategies. This work is composed of four stages, the first corresponds to the initial diagnosis, it shows the procedures under which is determined the cost of providing the service and the way the resources are currently consumed; the second stage comprises the design of the new cost system, this system is generated from the information obtained in the first stage and in search of the satisfaction of the information needs of the company; in the third stage the development of the design chosen in the previous stage is carried out, new methods for the calculation of the cost are established and indicators that allow to determine the consumption of the resources by each one of the services; finally, the system is subjected to an evaluation in financial criteria and relevance of the information to determine if it should continue to be used or, on the contrary, work must be continued with the information obtained initially
