dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto de grado tiene como objetivo principal diseñar un plan de mantenimiento preventivo para la empresa PLASTIBARRANCA S.A. Junto con la ayuda de un sistema de información que permita hacer las labores de mantenimiento más eficientes en la empresa. Con lo anterior, se pretende que la productividad de los equipos en la empresa aumente, con lo que ésta podrá ser más competitiva en el mercado nacional e internacional. Como primera medida fue necesario realizar una auditoría a la empresa en busca del tipo de mantenimiento aplicado, su estado actual y su efectividad, con lo que se logró identificar los principales aspectos que estaban fallando y así enfocar las mejoras a implementar. Sumado a lo anterior, se realizó un inventario de equipos y repuestos, codificación de los equipos involucrados con los procesos productivos, así como diseñar y establecer las hojas de vida de cada uno de ellos, junto con el formato de órdenes de trabajo a realizar a cada equipo, sus fichas técnicas, tareas programadas de mantenimiento preventivo, y las listas de chequeo diario correspondientes. Con la información recopilada se hizo un análisis de criticidad y se creó un sistema de información para la gestión y administración del mantenimiento, sistema el cual permitirá mostrar las fichas mencionadas, tiempos y hará más eficaz las labores de este departamento.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This degree project's main objective is to design a preventive maintenance plan for the company PLASTIBARRANCA S.A. Along with the help of an information system that would enable the more efficient maintenance work in the company. With this, it is intended that the productivity of equipment in the company increases, so that it can be more competitive in the domestic and international markets. As a first step it was necessary to audit the company in search of the rate applied maintenance, its current status and its effectiveness, so that it was possible to identify the main issues that were failing and thus focus on improvements to implement. Added to the above, an inventory of the equipment and spare parts, coding equipment involved in production processes took place, as well as design and establish the resumes of each of them, along with the format work orders to perform each team, their technical specifications, scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, and the corresponding daily check lists. With the information gathered was an analysis of criticality and an information system for management and maintenance management system which allows display the tabs above, times and make more effective the work of this department it was created.
