dc.description.abstract	En el área metropolitana de Bucaramanga se dispone de sistemas de alcantarillado de los cuales la gran mayoría son combinados, cuya función principal se mantiene funcional en toda su área. Se recolectan las aguas residuales que generan los ciudadanos y las aguas lluvias generadas por las precipitaciones, sin embargo, muchas de estas redes tienen bastantes años o están bastante deterioradas. En varias zonas de la AMB se presentan activos que no están cumpliendo su función por diferentes factores, siendo el más general el cumplimiento de su vida útil, por lo que la Empresa Pública de Alcantarillado de Santander – EMPAS S.A E.S.P siendo la compañía encargada de la administración y gestión de los sistemas de alcantarillado en la AMB, desarrolla proyectos de reposición de alcantarillado. En esta práctica se llevaron a cabo actividades de apoyo en la coordinación de las obras, realizando visitas de campo y revisiones técnicas para generar un documento donde se evalúa la pertinencia de las especificaciones técnicas EMPAS, además de tareas de oficina; con el fin de cumplir a satisfacción con el alcance del proyecto y realizar el acta de liquidación del contrato.
dc.description.abstractenglish	In Bucaramanga metropolitan area AMB there are sewage system, whose main function remains operational throughout the city. The wastewater generated by citizens and the rainwater generated by rainfall are collected by a separate system, however, many of these networks are quite old or deteriorated. In several areas of the AMB there are assets that are not fulfilling their function due to different factors, the main reason is the fulfillment of their use, for which the Empresa Pública de Alcantarillado de Santander – EMPAS SA ESP being the company in charge of the administration and management of sewage systems in the AMB, develops sewer replacement projects. In this practice, support activities were carried out in the coordination of the works, implementing field visits and technical reviews to generate a document where the relevance of the EMPAS technical specifications is evaluated, in addition to office tasks; in order to comply satisfactorily with the scope of the project and the liquidation of the contract.
