| dc.description.abstract | En el trabajo se analiza cómo, con el comercio de cacao, comienza un desplazamiento de la frontera hacia las tierras bajas. El uso de estas tierras fue diferente al que se le dio a las tierras ubicadas en las zonas altas, donde se consolidaron grandes propiedades con importantes inversiones. Uno de los elementos que se destacan es los diferentes ritmos del mercado de tierra en cada uno de los sitios de la provincia. El número de personas fue diferente tanto arriba como abajo. El promedio de personas en cada casa no fue igual, pues en las tierras más altas estaban los vecinos más ricos e importantes de la provincia. | |
