dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo corresponde al desarrollo de la práctica profesional en Ingeniería Civil, realizada en la Secretaría de Infraestructura del municipio de El Socorro, Santander, cuyo propósito fue brindar apoyo en la formulación y ejecución de proyectos de dicha Secretaría. Durante el desarrollo de la práctica empresarial, se realizaron diversas actividades orientadas al fortalecimiento de las competencias técnicas y profesionales, tales como capacitación, formulación y aplicación de la metodología MGA para dos proyectos a cargo de la dependencia. Asimismo, se revisaron estudios previos, planos, presupuestos e informes de factibilidad integral en tres proyectos de tipo: infraestructura hidráulica, desarrollos urbanísticos, y mejoramiento de infraestructura pública, se brindó apoyo en la elaboración de presupuestos para dos futuros proyectos de mejoramiento y mantenimiento de la infraestructura pública, y se llevaron a cabo visitas técnicas, inspecciones, redacción de conceptos técnicos y reportes de seguimiento con su respectivo análisis de avances. Como resultado, se fortalecieron los procesos de formulación, análisis y seguimiento de proyectos de infraestructura, lo que contribuyó a una gestión más eficiente de la información técnica. Se optimizó el apoyo en la estructuración de presupuestos y la revisión documental, y se adquirió experiencia en campo que permitió comprender de manera integral la relación entre la planeación y la ejecución de los proyectos. En conjunto, la experiencia facilitó la integración de conocimientos técnicos, normativos y administrativos, evidenciando un impacto positivo en el desarrollo de competencias profesionales en el sector público.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This work corresponds to the development of the professional internship in Civil Engineering, carried out at the Infrastructure Secretariat of the municipality of El Socorro, Santander, whose purpose was to provide support in the formulation and execution of projects within the Secretariat. During the internship, various activities were performed aimed at strengthening technical and professional skills, such as training, formulation, and application of the MGA methodology for projects under the responsibility of the department. Likewise, preliminary studies, drawings, budgets, and comprehensive feasibility reports were reviewed for four types of projects: hydraulic infrastructure, urban development, and public infrastructure improvement. Additionally, support was provided in the preparation of budgets for two future projects related to the improvement and maintenance of public infrastructure. Technical visits, inspections, drafting of technical reports, and progress monitoring reports with their respective analysis were also carried out. As a result, project formulation, analysis, and monitoring processes were strengthened, contributing to a more efficient management of technical information. Support in budget structuring and document review was optimized, and field experience was gained, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between project planning and execution. Overall, the experience facilitated the integration of technical, regulatory, and administrative knowledge, demonstrating a positive impact on the development of professional competencies in the public sector.
