dc.description.abstract	Con la determinación de mejorar la calidad de los procesos de enseñanza/aprendizaje la Universidad Industrial de Santander por medio de la herramientas tecnológicas masivamente en todos los programas académicos de la universidad. En camino de lograr dicha meta emergen algunas necesidades como actualizar los contenidos temáticos a unos que permitan desarrollar plenamente los estándares de calidad internacional, los mecanismos de aprendizaje y metodologías empleadas en la cátedra docente e incluso las competencias actitudinales y axiológicas destacando entre ellas la participación activa del estudiante en la construcción de su propio conocimiento. En este proyecto se desarrolló el diseño instruccional basado en competencias para la asignatura Dinámica implementando herramientas pedagógicas renovadas para lograr estudiantes competentes en este importante curso perteneciente al área de ciencias básicas de Ingeniería Mecánica. Para ello se desarrolló los siguientes productos: el Diagrama Secuencial de actividades que entrega la estructura pedagógica a desarrollar, la tabla de saberes y haceres que señala los requerimientos conceptuales para alcanzar las competencias, una planeación curricular flexible que recomienda los tiempos adecuados para abarcar cada temática en pro de alcanzar todas las competencias al finalizar el curso. Como la fase más importante del proyecto se desarrolló un objeto de aprendizaje para las cinco grandes temáticas de la asignatura, para ello se implementó la plataforma Moodle de la Universidad Industrial de Santander.
