dc.description.abstract	Las ciudades seguirán creciendo, sobre todo en los países en desarrollo. Actualmente, el 55% de las personas en el mundo vive en ciudades. Según un nuevo informe de la ONU (Organización de Naciones Unidas), se estima que en el 2050 esta proporción aumentará hasta un 13%, El gran reto por parte de las ciudades es el desarrollo sostenible, el cual dependerá cada vez más de la forma apropiada del crecimiento urbano (Noticias ONU, 2018), la capacidad de transformar sus sistemas y el uso de la tecnología para optimizar el uso de sus recursos. El desarrollo de este prototipo pretende brindar información de valor agregado para el sistema de buses de transporte masivo. La alternativa de transporte masivo de pasajeros en áreas urbanas que se ha implementado en Latinoamérica es el modelo conocido como BRT (Buses de transporte Rápido), una de las diversas problemáticas del sistema de información que se maneja actualmente es la falta de información por parte de sus usuarios. Mediante este trabajo y un prototipo software se pretende aportar a un manejo eficiente de la información en el sistema de transporte actual de Bucaramanga, el tener acceso a datos, como la posición de los
