dc.description.abstract	Por medio de este trabajo de grado se logró la implementación del servicio de Web Conferencing de código libre BigBlueButton para los programas de Tecnología y gestión Empresarial del Instituto de Proyección Regional y Educación a Distancia de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Mediante un estudio de prefactibilidad basado en la metodología Logical Framework Approach de diseño de actividades se generó la documentación que permitió a la dirección de los programas de Tecnología y gestión Empresarial y al desarrollador del proyecto identificar los requerimientos tecnológicos, económicos y humanos necesarios para realizar el diseño de la implementación de la herramienta y una prueba piloto , teniendo en cuenta el cumplimiento de los lineamientos expuestos en el Proyecto de Transformación del Programa de Tecnología Empresarial de la Modalidad a Distancia a la Modalidad Virtual financiado por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional. Durante la prueba piloto se realizó un análisis de Quality of Experience de los usuarios que permitió corroborar los beneficios de BigBlueButton que fueron identificados durante la etapa de análisis de pre-factibilidad, brindando un buen panorama para la implementación de esta herramienta en un ambiente productivo ya que se garantiza un alto porcentaje de aceptación de la herramienta por parte de la población objetivo.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Through this degree work was achieved the implementation of a free code Web Conferencing service called BigBlueButton for the programs of Technology and Business Management of the Institute of Regional Projection and Distance Education of the Industrial University if Santander. Using a pre-feasibility study based on the Logical Framework Approach methodology of activity design documentation was generated that allowed to the direction of the Technology and Business Management programs and the developer identify the necessary technological, economical and human requirements to perform the design of the implementation of a pilot test, taking into account compliance with the guidelines outlined in the Project for the Transformation of Business Technology Program from the Distance Modality to the Virtual Modality funded by the Ministry of Education. During the pilot test was conducted an analysis of the Quality of Experience of the users that corroborated the benefits of BigBlueButton that were identified during the stage of pre-feasibility analysis, providing a good overview for the implementation of this tool in a production environment whereas guarantees a high rate of acceptance of the tool by the target population.
