dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo de investigación tienen como finalidad la realización de un diagnóstico operacional a las rutas P1, AB1, AB2 y AB3, del Sistema de Integrado de Transporte Masivo, Metrolínea S.A, permitiendo determinar la eficiencia y desempeño que presentan para tener conocimiento acerca de cuáles rutas están operando de una manera adecuada y contribuir al mejoramiento en el tema de transporte de pasajeros en el Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga. La información utilizada para la determinación de las características de las rutas, se obtuvo a partir del trabajo de campo realizado en los diferentes sectores de Bucaramanga, dependiendo del recorrido de las rutas, empleando el cular la demanda de pasajeros que permita examinar el índice de pasajeros por kilómetro y realizar un análisis básico que va desde determinar cada atributo de las rutas del Sistema Integrado de Transporte Masivo hasta el análisis económico comparativo entre los ingresos tarifarios y los costos de operación de cada ruta diagnosticada según la tipología y determinar las posibles razones de las perdidas monetarias. Con este análisis también se puede verificar la correcta operación de una ruta, ya sea que funcione como una ruta origen-destino o ruta alimentadora.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The research work has the purpose of making an operational diagnosis to the P1, AB1, AB2 and AB3 routes of the Integrated Mass Transport System, Metrolínea S.A, allowing to determine the efficiency and performance they present and to have knowledge about which routes are operating in a suitable way and to contribute to the improvement in the subject of mobility in the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga. The information used to determine the characteristics of the routes was obtained from the field work carried out in the different sectors of Bucaramanga, depending on the route of the routes, using the method of "passenger ascending and descending". The specific objective of this method is to calculate the passenger demand that allows to examine the rate of passengers per kilometer and to perform a basic analysis that goes from determining each attribute of the routes of the Integrated System of Mass Transit to the comparative economic analysis between the tariff revenues and the operating costs of each route diagnosed according to the typology and determine the possible reasons for the monetary losses. With this analysis can also verify the correct operation of a route, whether it works as a route origin-destination or feeder route.
