dc.description.abstract	Por lo anterior, en este proyecto de grado se implementó un algoritmo bajo la metodología de filtrado colaborativo, utilizando MapReduce, para realizar mejor la precisión en las recomendaciones en la interacción de los usuarios e ítems, productos o artículos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The Empresa Social del Estado Hospital Universitario de Santander, is a public institution at departmental level, which provides health services of medium and high complexity, this institution of the state is dedicated to contributing to the improvement of the quality community’s life in Colombian northeast and does it since 1973, so it has 45 years of experience in the health sector. This project was developed through the business practice modality, and aimed to formulate, design and implement an improvement plan in the mission processes of E.S.E H.U.S focused on the ‘Sistema Único de Acreditación’ The strategies of the improvement process plan started from a business diagnosis with two selfevaluations with internal audit, there was an absence in compliance with some mandatory health standards that involved the mission processes and their outpatient care component. Following this, a series of guidelines and actions were formulated to comply with the improvement opportunities detected through the application of industrial engineering tools. Finally, a system of indicators was designed that allows the constant evaluation of the improvements suggested and the implemented ones, in order to promote continuous improvement.
