dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto de investigación está basado en el programa internacional de investigación The Relevance of science education (ROSE) el cual presenta una investigación de la importancia de la ciencia y la tecnología que son esenciales para el desarrollo de la educación en el país. La población participante en el proyecto corresponde a 113 estudiantes de la institución educativa publica y 88 estudiantes de la institución educativa privada, con un total de 201 estudiantes entre edades de 11 a 13 años. El objetivo general es indagar cuales son las diferencias de actitudes e intereses sobre las ciencias que tienen los estudiantes en una institución educativa publica y una privada. Para lograr a la interpretación de datos. Los resultados obtenidos respecto a los intereses de los estudiantes son mayoritariamente similares, aunque su aprendizaje se desarrollara en diferentes instituciones de estratos socioeconómicos. En comparación en el cuestionario A las instituciones difirieron con el interés, en la I. Privada se evidencio que el mayor interés son los animales en otras partes del mundo y en la I. Publica el interés mayor son los agujeros negros, supernovas y otros objetos del espacio exterior, como también los tornados, huracanes y ciclones. En el cuestionario C los estudiantes de las dos instituciones educativas tuvieron similitud en el interés de porque soñamos mientras dormimos y cuál es su significado, aunque en la I. Publica hubo el mismo interés por los fantasmas, brujas y si existen realmente; en el cuestionario E nuevamente los estudiantes de las dos instituciones tuvieron afinidad con el mayor interés acerca de los fenómenos que los científicos aun no pueden explicar.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The present research project is based on the international research program The Relevance of Scientific Education (ROSE) which presents a science and technology science research for the development of education in the country. The population participating in the project corresponds to 113 students of the public educational institution and 88 students of the private educational institution, with a total of 201 students between the ages of 11 and 13 years. The general objective is to investigate which are the differences of attitudes and interests on the sciences that students have in a public and private educational institution. To achieve the objective of implementing the questionnaires of the ROSE study (A, C and E) he called "OF WHAT I WANT TO LEARN" with the Likert scale, which was taken into account "very interested" in the interpretation of data. The results obtained with respect to the interests of the students are mostly similar, although their learning is developed in different institutions of socioeconomic strata. Private it is evident that the greater interest is the animals in other parts of the world and in the life.
