dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación busca determinar cómo se expresa la tensión entre derechos ambientales, culturales y económicos de las comunidades que habitan el área del Parque Nacional Natural El Cocuy frente al manejo y aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales en el sector turístico, planteando como hipótesis que el sustrato de la tensión no son los derechos sino la interpretación y el ejercicio de los mismos por parte de los actores involucrados y que por tanto puede desarrollarse un turismo sostenible sin crear tensiones o generar afectaciones. La metodología que se desarrolla es cualitativa, de tipo descriptivo que acude a las técnicas de revisión documental y análisis de contenido. Su valor reside en el acercamiento teórico a una problemática vigente con miras a aportar información para la toma de decisiones y para su comprensión. dc.description.abstractenglish	The present research seeks to determine how tension is expressed between environmental, cultural and economic rights of the communities that inhabit the area of the El Cocuy National Natural Park in the face of the management and use of natural resources in the tourism sector, hypothesizing that the substrate of the tension is not the rights but the interpretation and the exercise of them by the involved actors and that therefore a sustainable tourism can develop without creating tensions or generating affectations. The methodology developed is qualitative, descriptive type that goes to the techniques of documentary review and content analysis. Its value lies in the theoretical approach to a current problem in order to provide information for decision making and for its understanding. The present research seeks to determine how tension is expressed between environmental, cultural and economic rights of the communities that inhabit the area of the El Cocuy National Natural Park in the face of the management and use of natural resources in the tourism sector, hypothesizing that the substrate of the tension is not the rights but the interpretation and the exercise of them by the involved actors and that therefore a sustainable tourism can develop without creating tensions or generating affectations.
