dc.description.abstract	En el presente trabajo, se presenta el desarrollo de una metodología para la selección del material propante en procesos de Fracturamiento hidráulico en un pozo petrolero. La primera etapa de este trabajo es la descripción a manera general de la técnica de Fracturamiento hidráulico en pozos petroleros, junto con los fluidos de Fracturamiento utilizados en el proceso. Seguidamente se hace la evaluación de los factores que afectan la debida selección del material propante, tales como; Profundidad, Presión, Temperatura, Propiedades del yacimiento, El Contra flujo, Empotramiento, Generación de finos, Conductividad y el Escalonamiento del propante en el pozo. Seguidamente se hace un protocolo de pruebas en el cual se evalúa y/o se hacen mediciones de la conductividad del propante con base en la norma API RP 61 y se hace una descripción del equipo utilizado para este fin. Los cálculos realizados en esta etapa son la Permeabilidad y la Conductividad del propante. Se finaliza con el planteamiento de una metodología para la selección del material propante en procesos de Fracturamiento hidráulico en pozos petroleros, la cual permitirá la optimización y mejoramiento de la producción de crudo en los campos petroleros que cuentan actualmente con esta técnica de recobro mejorado, y en los campos en los que se va a realizar
dc.description.abstractenglish	In the present work, a methodology is presented for the selection of propant material in hydraulic fracturing processes in a well. The first stage of this work is the general description of the technique of hydraulic fracturing in oil wells, along with the fracturing fluids used in the process. Afterwards, an evaluation is made of the parameters affecting the proper selection of the propant material, such parameters are: depth, pressure, temperature, reservoir fluids, backflow, fitting, fine generation, conductivity and the staggering of the propant in the well. Then, a test protocol in which evaluations and/or measurements of the conductivity propant are made according to the API RP 61 regulation, and a description of the equipment used to this purpose is also reviewed. The calculations made in this stage are permeability and conductivity of the propant. The investigation concludes with the proposition of a methodology in order to select the propant material in hydraulic fracturing processes in oil wells; this methodology will allow the optimization and improvement of oil production in oil wells that currently use an enhanced recovery method, and future prospects for this technology.
