dc.description.abstract	Un currículo de pregrado en Ingeniería está idealmente compuesto de un programa integrado de cátedra, y experiencias de laboratorio. Es en el laboratorio donde el estudiante verifica apreciaciones teóricas, confronta contenidos con la realidad, comprueba diseños propios y realiza pruebas de sistemas reales. Estos ambientes son además uno de los componentes fundamentales para garantizar la calidad de la formación ofrecida por las instituciones educativas. Por lo tanto, se requiere contar con instalaciones modernas que permitan desarrollar procesos de formación, investigación y extensión, coherentes con las tendencias tecnológicas en el área de formación y con el perfil de egreso de los estudiantes. Teniendo en cuenta que la gestión tecnológica es un proceso que integra la ciencia, el conocimiento y la administración para planear, organizar y ejecutar actividades relacionadas con la tecnología de manera estratégica y que contribuyan al alcance de los objetivos empresariales, se presenta en este documento el desarrolló y aplicación de una metodología para la selección de tecnologías, con miras a la modernización de los laboratorios del área de electrónica de la Escuela de Ingenierías Eléctrica, Electrónica y de Telecomunicaciones- E3T Con el desarrolló de este trabajo se logró realizar la apropiación de los lineamientos de algunas herramientas características de la gestión tecnológica como el benchmarking, el diagnóstico tecnológico y principalmente la vigilancia tecnológica constituyendo una de las etapas iniciales de lo que podría denominarse un proceso de planeación tecnológica para la E3T. Los resultados de este trabajo aportan a los involucrados en el proceso de renovación de la infraestructura tecnológica una visión clara sobre las tendencias del mercado en cuanto a equipos didácticos para la formación en ingeniería y especialmente un panorama sobre las tendencias de investigación en el área de ingeniería electrónica y el perfil de los ingenieros electrónicos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	An undergraduate curriculum in Engineering is ideally made up of an integrated program of class, and laboratory experiences. It is in the laboratory where the students verify theoretical appreciations, there, the students confront contents with the reality, and they checks their own designs, also they carry out tests of real systems. These learning spaces are also one of the fundamental components to guarantee the quality of the formation offered by the educational institutions. Therefore, it is necessary having modern facilities that allow to develop formation processes investigation processes and extensión processes. It is also necessary having coherency competences. Keeping in mind that technology management is a process that integrates the science, the knowledge and the administration to drift, to organize and to execute activities related with the technology in a strategic way and that they contribute within reach of the managerial objectives, this document presents the development and application of a methodology for the selection of technologies, with an eye toward the modernization of the laboratories of the área of Electrical and Electronics Program at Universidad Industrial de Santander. With the development of this work it was possible to carry out the appropriation of characteristic tools of the technology management as the benchmarking, the technological diagnosis and mainly the technological surveillance. These projects constitute one of the initial stages of a technology planning process for the E3T. The results of this work give to those involved in the process of renovation of the technological infrastructure a clear visión on the tendencies of the market of didactic equipment for the formation process in engineering and especially an overview on the investigation and education tendencies in electronic engineering.
