dc.description.abstract	Se ha demostrado que algunos tipos de sistemas agrícolas pueden actuar como refugios de biodiversidad cuando poseen mayor cantidad de sombra. No obstante, aún existe cierto debate sobre su potencial de conservación respecto a especies dependientes del bosque, por lo que nuestro trabajo pretendió contribuir al conocimiento de los efectos del manejo agrícola sobre la diversidad al estudiar las características de las comunidades de mamíferos (medianos y grandes) y aves terrestres presentes en cuatro hábitats con diferentes usos del suelo en la región noroccidental del Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de los Yariguíes. Para esto se usaron cámaras trampa dispuestas en hábitats con diferentes porcentajes de cobertura, desde bosque y cultivos agroforestales hasta monocultivos, durante 180 días. Del muestreo realizado se registraron 69 especies de las cuales 46 son aves y 23 mamíferos. Encontramos que los hábitats se diferencian en abundancia y composición de especies; siendo el bosque el lugar con mayor cantidad de abundancias y composición más heterogénea albergando tanto especies resistentes como sensibles a la fragmentación. Hallamos, además, especies con gran presión antrópica en los sistemas agroforestales. dc.description.abstractenglish	It has been shown that some types of agricultural systems can act as a refuge for biodiversity when they have more shade. However, there is still some debate about its conservation potential with respect to forest-dependent species, so our work aimed to contribute to knowledge about the effects of diversity conservation by studying the characteristics of mammalian communities (medium and large) and terrestrial birds present in four habitats with different land uses in the northwestern region of the Serranía de los Yariguíes National Park. For this, camera-traps arranged in habitats with different coverage percentages were used, from forest and agroforestry crops to monocultures, for 180 days. Of the sampling carried out, 69 species of which 46 are birds and 23 mammals were recorded. We found that habitats differ in abundance and species composition; the forest was the place with the greatest amount of abundance and most heterogeneous composition, harboring both resistant and fragmentation sensitive species. We also found species with great anthropic pressure in agroforestry systems. Finally, interviews were carried out that show the importance in the perception and attitude of the inhabitants for the maintenance of the conservation value of the cultivation systems studied here.
