| dc.description.abstract | La División de Publicaciones comprometida con el mejoramiento continuo, inicia su proceso de integración al modelo de gestión desarrollado por la Universidad Industrial de Santander con la implementación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) basado en los requisitos de la Norma Técnica Colombiana ISO 9001:2000 en el Proceso de Distribución y Venta de Publicaciones de la Librería UIS. En la primera etapa se definieron las condiciones más apropiadas que orientaron el desarrollo del proyecto, se realizó el diagnóstico a partir del cual se obtuvo la información necesaria para la planificación de las actividades y la identificación de los elementos sujetos a cambios y modificaciones durante el diseño, documentación e implementación del SGC. Paralelamente se realizaron las actividades de capacitación que aseguraron la implementación eficaz del mismo, bajo el principio de mejoramiento continuo aplicado según la metodología del ciclo Deming Planear, Hacer, Verificar y Actuar (PHVA) y se desarrolló la estrategia cinco ‚S™ (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) para fortalecer las actividades del proceso. Con los resultados de la Auditoría Interna se detectaron los puntos débiles y se determinaron los aspectos más relevantes para la definición del plan de mejoramiento. El proyecto concluye con el perfil final del proceso, conclusiones y recomendaciones que ayudarán a la consolidación e incremento del nivel del mismo para su inclusión dentro del alcance del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad de la División de Publicaciones. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Publications Division committed to continuous improvement, began its process of integrating the management model developed by the Industrial University of Santander with the implementation of the Quality Management System (CMS) based on the requirements of the Norm Colombian Technique ISO 9001:2000. in the Process of Distribution and Sale Bookstore Publications of the UIS. In the first phase were defined conditions more appropriate that guided the development of the project, was diagnosed from which they obtained the information necessary for planning and identification of items subject to changes and modifications during the design , Documentation and implementation of the CMS. Alongside were conducted training activities that ensured the effective implementation of it, under the principle of continuous improvement methodology applied according to Deming cycle Planning, Do, Check and Act (PDCA) and developed the strategy five ‚S™ (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) to strengthen activitiesprocess. With the outcome of the Internal Audit weaknesses were detected and identified the most relevant aspects of the plan for the definition of improvement. The project concludes with the profile end of the process, conclusions and recommendations that will help consolidate and increase the level of the same for inclusion within the scope of the Quality Management System, Division of Publications. | |
