dc.description.abstract	El proyectoﬂ EL GATO SOY YOﬂ nace de la inquietud de la autora por socializar un problema que se presenta en una gatera y su interés por expresarse plásticamente. El inicio de la propuesta se genera a través de la divulgación de los hechos hacia la comunidad mediante afiches, volantes, publicaciones en revistas, Internet y otros medios de comunicación , en una acción plástica, recorre la ciudad contando la historia deﬂ la Gatera de Doña Felisaﬂ, ubicada en el municipio de Floridablanca donde vivieron por 18 años 280 gatos. Estos gatos fueron víctima del maltrato, muerte y desplazamiento, debido a que ocupaban un espacio urbano que en determinado momento adquiere una importancia por su ubicación estratégica. El proyecto se alimenta con los aportes o intervenciones creativas de las personas del común que reciben la información. En ese proceso se obtiene una cantidad de material relacionado con el tema en forma directa y a través del Internet en donde se abrió el correo elgatosoyyo@gmail.com. El peso y la significación de estas acciones están sustentados con criterios artísticos de la posmodernidad como es el arte conceptual, arte participativo para concretar la materialización de la obra mediante una instalación penetrable donde el espectador termina siendo parte de la misma , se apropia del concepto, interioriza el problema y lo vincula a otros conceptos asociados con la cotidianidad. Este es el inicio del proyecto ﬁEL GATO SOY YOﬂ que va adquiriendo vida propia y su continuidad depende de la emoción que trasmite a través de las diferentes formas de expresión.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The project “I am the cat” born from the author's concern on the socializing circumstances that arepresent at a “gatera” and her own interest to express sensitivity this aspect plastically. The initial action is through the disclosure of the conflict towards the community by means ofposters, leaflets, magazine articles, internet and other media, in a plastic action across the citydescribing the story of “Gatera of Dofia Felisa’, located in the town of Floridablanca, where 280 catslived over 18 years. These cats were victims of mistreat, displacement and death, because theyoccupied an urban space, in which at some point takes importance for its strategic location in theurban space. The project is fed by the intense creative contributions of ordinary people who receive information ofcat's destine. During this process a huge quantity of the related material is collected via the Internetwhere the author opened an email account: elgatosoyyo@gmail.com. The weight and significance of these actions are supported by the artistic criteria of post modernity,as participatory art for realizing the materialization of the work through a penetrable installationwhere the viewer ends-up as part of it, takes the concept, internalizes the problem and links it toother concepts associated with the everyday basis. This is the beginning of the project “Il am the cat” which has acquired its own life. Its continuitydepends on the emotion that passes through different forms of expression.
