dc.description.abstract	La Universidad Industrial de Santander a lo largo del tiempo ha sido reconocida por su excelencia académica, que la ha llevado a estar entre las mejores universidades del país. Adicionalmente en el ámbito deportivo es una de las más reconocidas en la región gracias a sus selecciones deportivas, que abarcan gran variedad de disciplinas. Sin embargo, no existe una plataforma o portal web que ayude a incentivar y fomentar la participación en el deporte, se han realizado otros intentos con versiones anteriores, pero ninguna ha llegado a cumplir el objetivo principal de estos portales que es incentivar a todo el personal a la participación de algún deporte en aquellos eventos organizados por la universidad. Adicional a esto la planeación y control de cualquier evento deportivo que se desee realizar tiene cierto grado de complejidad y también requiere de la debida atención a cada uno de los detalles que se vayan presentando, para que de este modo el evento se realice de manera exitosa. En este proyecto se busca automatizar las funciones del portal deportivo UISPORT para brindar una solución completa que pueda ser puesta en práctica por el área deportiva de la universidad. Dado que sus versiones anteriores no han llegado a dar solución aun por los escasos deportes con los que cuenta su plataforma. En esta versión se implementarán nuevos deportes, se rediseñará la interfaz gráfica, se realizará reingeniería haciendo su usabilidad más practica al momento de dar administración a estos eventos. 1
dc.description.abstractenglish	The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) over time has been recognized for its academic excellence, which has led to position itself in the best universities in the country. Additionally, in the sports field, the UIS is one of the most recognized universities in the region, due to its sports selections, which cover a great variety of disciplines. However, there is not a platform or a web portal that helps to encourage the sports participation, it has been proposed in previous versions, but none have managed to achieve the main objective of these portals, in order to encourage the university community to participate in a sport, in those events organized by the university. In addition, the planning and control of any sporting event are tasks with a high complexity degree, which require attention in real time, i.e., that allows the event to be successfully carried out according to the difficulties that may arise in its development. Therefore, this project seeks to automate the functions of the UISPORT portal to provide a complete solution that can be put into practice by the sports area of the university. Due to, their previous versions have not come to give a solution, due to the few sports that have their traditional platform. In this proposed version, new sports are implemented, the graphical interface is redesigned and re-engineering is done making its usability more practical when administering these events. 2 *
