dc.description.abstract	El desarrollo progresivo del sistema vial del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga se debe al incremento del parque automotor. Una forma para dar solución a esta problemática es la implementación de los anillos viales externos del Área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga, los cuales minimizan los tiempos de viaje. Al establecer las rutas que toman muchos vehículos de carga pesada, encontramos que hay una cantidad notable que se ven obligados a ingresar a la ciudad para luego tomar su destino, lo cual genera congestión en la malla vial interna deteriorándola a su vez. En éste trabajo se procede a Analizar el impacto que presenta el desarrollo de un Anillo Vial Externo en el comportamiento del tránsito de vehículos de Carga Pesada sobre el Área metropolitana de Bucaramanga, así como Examinar la situación actual y el manejo del tránsito para la ciudad. Se utilizaron los estudios archivados de las entidades municipales y gubernamentales para evaluar la viabilidad del anillo vial externo. Y se encontró que según la información solicitad que el proyecto del que más se posee información es el tramo Conexión Girón-Tres esquinas el cual inicia en el empalme sobre la Concesión ZMB (PR67+500) de la Ruta 6602 hasta el municipio de Girón. Al estudiar estos datos específicos y generando un consolidado se puede determinar qué tan prescindible es este proyecto en el transporte de carga pesada para la ciudad.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The progressive development of the road system of the municipality of Bucaramanga depends of the increase of the traffic. One way to solve that problem is the implementation of beltways at the road network of the municipality of Bucaramanga that minimize travel time. Establishing the most used routes of the heavy vehicles, we find out that it is a remarkable number of cars that have to get into the city to then arrive at their destination, which generates traffic in the internal road and produces damages at the same time. In this paper, we will analyze the impact that represents the develop of a road network in the behavior of the traffic of heavy vehicles in the municipality of Bucaramanga, as well as a review of the current situation and the management of heavy traffic for the city.
