dc.description.abstract	En el presente proyecto se realizaron una serie de actividades estadísticas y de gestión, como parte del estudio que tiene como fin la dotación y adecuación del Laboratorio de Materiales Cerámicos en la UIS, que permite el desarrollo intelectual e investigativo del personal académico de la universidad en sus actividades de docencia, investigación y extensión. El proyecto se desarrolló a través de un diagnostico técnico, científico y de producción aplicado a la industria cerámica santandereana, la cual dio a conocer su estado actual en la forma como se debe atender a sus necesidades de mejoramiento, en los aspectos técnicos, humanos y ambientales, para la elaboración de sus productos en base arcilla. Se generó una propuesta de dotación y adecuación del espacio físico, adquisición y montaje de equipos y materiales según normas técnicas estandarizadas y en cumplimiento con el conducto regular institucional de la elaboración de los formatos establecidos por planeación (fichas EBI y proyectos tipo A), vigentes en la Universidad. Se elaboró una propuesta de un manual de laboratorio, el cual contiene las experiencias más representativas para el estudio teórico-práctico de las asignaturas de Materiales Refractarios y Materiales Cerámicos, producto de la acreditación del programa de Ingeniería Metalúrgica de la Universidad Industrial de Santander en el año 2001, en conjunto al aporte que puede ofrecer en la investigación de los proyectos de pregrado y posgrado de la Escuela
dc.description.abstractenglish	This project conducted a series of statistical and management, as part of the study,which is to the strength and adequacy of the Laboratory of Ceramic Materials in the UIS, whichallows the development of intellectual and research university of academic staff in their activitiesteaching, research and extension. The project was developed through a diagnosis of technical, scientific and production applied to theceramic industry of Santander, which announced its current state the way it should meet theirneeds for improvement in the technical, human and environmental and developing their productsbased on clay. Generated a proposal for allocation and adequacy of physical space, acquisition and installation ofequipment and materials according to standardized technical standards and in compliance with theregulation through the institutional development of the formats established by planning (EBI tab andproject type A), force in college. Produced a proposal for a laboratory manual, which contains the most representative for the studyof theorical and practical subjects of Ceramic Materials and Refractory Materials, product of theaccreditation program of Metallurgical Engineering of the Industrial University of Santander in theyear 2001, as a whole that can provide input into research projects and graduate of the School.
