dc.description.abstract	La reconstrucción de la memoria histórica del conflicto juega un papel esencial en el proceso de reparación a las víctimas. La Sede Regional Nororiente de la Comisión Nacional de Reparación y Reconciliación (CNRR), ha realizado un importante trabajo en el proceso de garantizar los derechos de las víctimas de los grupos armados organizados al margen de ley a la verdad, la justicia y la reparación y ha incluido como un punto prioritario dentro de su Plan de Acción la realización de una investigación que permita caracterizar el accionar de las autodefensas en La Gabarra Norte de Santander entre 1999-2004 desde su propia perspectiva, es decir a través de sus testimonios. PERFIL HISTORICO DELACCIONAR DE LAS AUTODEFENSAS EN LA GABARRA NORTE DE SANTANDER 1999-2004existente sobre este tema en la Región. Pero también se evidencia por la importancia que tienen las víctimas de violaciones de los derechos humanos en Colombia y en otras partes del mundo. Este trabajo es un intento por recuperar la memoria histórica de las víctimas del conflicto armado colombiano y poder entender las dinámicas del conflicto en la región del Catatumbo, recogido desde un estudio de caso: el proceso de reparación que actualmente adelanta la CNRR en La Gabarra. El estudio de caso busca explicar cómo La India se fue consolidando como un territorio de paz y hace un repaso por los elementos más relevantes que permitieron el proceso de poblamiento de lo que hoy constituye La Gabarra.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The Historical memories reconstruction of the conflict plays an essential role in the victims’ reparation process. The Northeast Regional Office of the National Reparation and Reconciliation Committee (CNRR) has carried out an important work in the process of guaranteeing victims’ rights of illegal army organized groups to the truth, justice and reparation. It has included as priority point in its Action Plan, an investigation that let characterize the actions of paramilitary AUC in Gabarra North of Santander between 1999-2004 from its own perspective, it means, through its testimonies. The investigation “HISTORICAL PROFILE OF PARAMILITARY AUC ACTIONS IN GABARRA NORTH OF SANTANDER 1999-2004” mainly arose from the lack of knowledge about this issue in the region. But also, it is evident for the importance of victims’ human rights violation in Colombia and other places around the world. This Project aims to make up the victims’ historical memories of the Colombian armed conflict and be able to understand the conflict dynamics in the Catatumbo region, studied from a Case Study: the process of reparation that nowadays is done by CNRR in La Gabarra. The Case Study has the purpose of explaining how India was consolidating as a territory of peace and makes a review for the most relevant elements that let the process of settling what constitutes today La Gabarra.
