dc.description.abstract	En el presente artículo de reflexión científica, a partir de los postulados teóricos del construccionismo y por medio de la revisión y análisis de fuentes literarias primarias versadas en el tema de este trabajo, se explica la relación existente entre la construcción social de la realidad y la situación de los derechos respecto a los sujetos de orientaciones sexuales e identidades diversas. Así se exponen las influencias de los prejuicios y el silencio, a nivel social e individual respectivamente, que operan detrás de la situación de vulneración histórica de los derechos de este grupo poblacional. Posteriormente, se analiza el papel que ha cumplido la Corte Constitucional de Colombia y la forma como por medio de la Constitución Política de Colombia se han tomado en serio su papel de propender por cambio cultural surgido en las últimas décadas donde han proliferado las reivindicaciones sociales más relevantes de personas LGBTI hasta ahora, dando un marco de acción en políticas públicas en diferentes regiones del país según sus características particulares y que han venido surgiendo en los último años con la actuación política de todos los sujetos involucrados en la reivindicación de derechos humanos. Finalmente desde un ejercicio intersubjetivo, se hace una reflexión y crítica al papel que cumple el Trabajo Social respecto a la intervención con sujetos de identidades sexuales diversas y sus problemas sociales, ya que como profesión, la misma debe ofrecer propuestas actuales de intervención profesional, acordes a los tiempos presentes y frente a otras profesiones que tienen apuestas de intervención similares. _______________________
dc.description.abstractenglish	In this article of scientific reflection, based on the theoretical postulates of constructionism and through review and analysis of primary literary sources versed in the subject of this paper, the objective is to explain the relation between the social construction of reality and human rights situation regarding the subjects with diverse sexual orientations and identities. That way, this article also explains the influence of prejudice and silence, on social and individual levels, respectively, operating behind the historical situation of violation of the rights directed towards this social group. Subsequently, the role it has fulfilled the Constitutional Court of Colombia it´s analyzed, by the way the Constitution of Colombia has been taken seriously as a tool and its role tending for cultural change emerged in recent decades, which have made possible the proliferation of the most important and relevant social demands to the group of LGBTI so far, giving a framework for action in public policies in different regions according to their particular characteristics, policies which have been emerging whiting the last years also thanks to the political action of all those involved in the vindication of human rights. Finally, from an intersubjective exercise, a reflection and criticism of the role played by the Social Work takes place, regarding to the intervention of individuals with diverse sexual identities and their social problems, since Social Work as a profession made for social change, it must provide current proposals for professional intervention according to the present times, facing other professions that have similar bets of intervention. _____________________
