dc.description.abstract	En Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana debido a la saturación de la capacidad del sitio de disposición final de las basuras, las autoridades tuvieron que declarar una emergencia sanitaria, este estudio surge de la necesidad de crear una empresa cuyo propósito sea el de recuperar especies (materias primas de segunda) para la industria, además este proyecto pretende mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas que se dedican a recolectar y recuperar residuos sólidos urbanos mediante la dignificación del oficio del reciclador y tiene como finalidad la de contribuir a crear una cultura sobre la recuperación de materias primas de segunda mano y lograr una concientización de la población sobre la importancia de separar los residuos desde la fuente. La factibilidad de este proyecto se basó en un estudio de mercados que cuantificó la demanda y la oferta, un estudio técnico el cual determinó el tamaño del proyecto, un estudio administrativo que definió el tipo de empresa que se constituirá así como su estructura organizacional, un estudio financiero que calculó los recursos necesarios para ponerlo en funcionamiento, en una evaluación del proyecto que permite calcular diferentes indicadores como el VPN, La TIR, El tiempo de recuperación, las razones financieras, y finalmente en una evaluación social y ambiental que tiene como propósito fundamental el de mitigar los impactos negativos que este pueda generar sobre el medio ambiente. Después de analizar los criterios de evaluación económica y financiera los cuales arrojaron como resultado un valor presente neto (VPN) de $ 256.943.556, una tasa interna de retorno (TIR) DE 60.82%, se puede asegurar que el proyecto es viable debido a que las cifras obtenidas son muy satisfactorias, además vale la pena resaltar que el tiempo de recuperación de la inversión es de tan solo un año con seis meses y cinco días.
