dc.description.abstract	Con el avance de la Internet y las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación cada día se hace más fácil el flujo de datos permitiendo compartir contenidos con diferentes personas y países, al mismo tiempo se han desarrollado un gran número de Sistemas de Gestión de Aprendizaje, entre ellos MEIWEB, el cual es usado en la Escuela de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informática UIS, para dar apoyo en el proceso de enseñanza. El presente proyecto propone nuevas funcionalidades para el Sistema de Gestión de Aprendizaje MEIWEB. Estás funcionalidades están directamente relacionadas con el modelo SCORM, por lo tanto éste fue estudiado y documentado. La primera funcionalidad permite que los contenidos de la plataforma se empaqueten cumpliendo con el modelo SCORM, y así puedan ser compartidos con otros Sistemas de Gestión de Aprendizaje (LMS). La segunda funcionalidad permite utilizar los paquetes creados como copia de seguridad para que en determinado caso los contenidos del curso puedan ser restaurados. De esta manera se logra un avance significativo en cuanto a seguridad e interoperabilidad de los contenidos, evitando que MEIWEB se convierta en un ente aislado de información. El contenido de este documento expone el diseño de las nuevas funcionalidades en la plataforma. En el primer capitulo se realiza la descripción general del proyecto. En el segundo capitulo hace referencia al marco teórico necesario para el desarrollo del proyecto. En el tercer capitulo se presenta el desarrollo de la metodología usada. En el cuarto capitulo se muestra el desarrollo del proyecto. En el quinto y sexto capitulo, se dan las recomendaciones y conclusiones de la investigación.
dc.description.abstractenglish	With the advancement of the internet and the information and communication technologies, the flow and the sharing of information allowed from different people and countries, becomes easier each day, at the same time a great number of learning management systems have been developed, among them the MEIWEB which has been in use in the information system school of engineering UIS, to provide support in the learning process. The present project proposes new functionalities for the learning management system MEIWEB. These functionalities are directly related with the SCORM model; this was appropriately studied and documented. The first functionality allows the content of the platform to compress in compliance with the SCORM model, thus they can be shared with other information management systems (LMS).The second functionality allows the utilization of the already compressed data as a security copy so that in the future the course contents can be restored. This way a significant benefit can be obtained in the security field and data interchange and thus preventing the MEIWEB to become an isolated information entity, The content of this document exposes the design of new functionalities in the platform. The first chapter describes the project in general. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical framework necessary for the development of the Project. The third chapter presents the development and the methodology used. The fourth chapter shows the development of the Project. The fifth and sixth chapter provides the recommendations and conclusions of the investigation.
