dc.description.abstract	El objetivo general de la presente investigación propone una posible interpretación del concepto eros como impulso demoniaco capaz de alterar las conductas naturales de algunos hombres. Para lograr tal cometido se tendrá que ahondar desde la filosofía en los conceptos eros, locura y enfermedad; que serán abordados desde la iniciativa de Homero y Platón, poeta y filósofo griegos respectivamente. Sobre el material que nos arroje podemos establecer el vehículo de comprensión de Eros como maníade Edgar Allan Poe, la responsabilidad de eros en los actos irracionales acaecidos en la obra en cuestión. En un primer momento, se tendrán en cuenta el diálogo Ilíadamedida, a eros como una fuerza capaz de alterar el estado racional de los hombres. dc.description.abstractenglish	The general objective of the present research proposes a possible interpretation of the eros concept as a demonic impulse capable of altering the natural behaviors of some men. In order to achieve such a task, one must delve from philosophy into the concepts eros, madness and disease; Which will be approached from the initiative of Homer and Plato, Greek poet and philosopher respectively. On the material that throws to us we can establish the vehicle of understanding of Eros like mania, and thus to verify in the story "The black cat" of Edgar Allan Poe, the responsibility of eros in the irrational acts happened in the work in question.
