dc.description.abstract	El objetivo del presente trabajo es diseñar el sistema de gestión de la información en el departamento de Mantenimiento para la empresa PRODATEL S.A.S. teniendo en cuenta las necesidades actuales de la compañía y las proyecciones que la misma tiene a futuro. La empresa suministró información primaria que permitió el desarrollo de cada uno de los capítulos del presente trabajo. Para el desarrollo de la metodología fue necesario detallar las condiciones actuales de la Gestión del área de Mantenimiento, permitiendo así una interpretación del problema actual y la consecución del sistema de información que se pretende diseñar. Los motivos que impulsan la realización de esta investigación, es lograr que el área de mantenimiento de la empresa este mejor organizado, que exista comunicación e interrelación de este departamento con los demás que tiene la compañía, que se utilice las tecnologías existentes y se controle y evalué la gestión administrativa, ya que el área de mantenimiento es la fuente principal de su actividad económica, pues PRODATEL S.A.S es una empresa que brinda soluciones de asesoría, interventoría y ejecución de proyectos civiles, metal-mecánicos, eléctricos de media y baja tensión y de mantenimiento, por lo que un sistema de información sería una gran herramienta para que la empresa pueda tener organización y control en los servicios que presta y que son la esencia de la imagen de la empresa en el mercado. Los resultados obtenidos generan impactos positivos en la comunicación, orden, control, evaluación y sistematización del área de mantenimiento de la empresa.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The objective of this work is to design the information management system in the Maintenance Department for the company PRODATEL S.A.S. taking into account the current needs of the company and its future projections. The company provided primary information that allowed the development of each chapters of this work. For the development of the methodology it was necessary to detail the current conditions of the Management of the Maintenance area, thus allowing an interpretation of the current problem and the achievement of the information system that is intended to be designed. The main reasons for the realization of this research, is to ensure that the maintenance area of the company is better organized, that there is communication and interrelation of this department with the rest of the company, that existing technologies are used for controlled and evaluated of the administrative management, since the maintenance area is the main source of its economic activity, because PRODATEL SAS is a company that provides solutions for advice, supervision and execution of civil, metal - mechanical, electrical medium and low voltage and maintenance projects, so an information system would be a great tool for the company organization and control in the services area, due this is the essence of the company's image in the market. The results obtained generate positive impacts in the communication, order, control, evaluation and systematization of the maintenance area of the company.
