| dc.description.abstract | El software producto de la elaboración de este trabajo de grado responde a la necesidad de poseer herramientas que proporcionen un enfoque práctico en la enseñanza de la temática Estadística descriptiva en la asignatura de Estadística de la Escuela de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informática de la UIS. Las herramientas que componen el software educativo como producto final son: tutorial, demos, simuladores y evaluación, las cuales corresponden a los objetivos específicos planteados, relacionados con la presentación de contenidos, el manejo de herramientas para la resolución de problemas y estudio de soluciones analíticas, materiales explicativos multimedia y el desarrollo de un mecanismo evaluativo. Se siguió el modelo de ciclo de vida del software de entrega por etapas, el cual favorece la visibilidad del desarrollo ante los usuarios y facilita la obtención de una realimentación por parte de ellos, de esta manera permite reducir riesgos y proporciona oportunidades de revisión en cada etapa, además de mantener la modularidad en cada una de ellas. El software educativo como producto final fue probado y utilizado por estudiantes de la asignatura de Estadística II del plan de estudios de la carrera de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informática durante el primer periodo académico de 2007, gracias a esto se obtuvo una realimentación por parte de los usuarios finales, necesaria para la realización de modificaciones y mejoras útiles para futuras versiones. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The software produced by developing this investigation project is a solution for practical orientation tools in the teaching of the Descriptive Statistics topic in the Statistics subject at the Systems and Computer Science School at the UIS. The software tools in this educative software as a final product, they are: tutorial, simulators, demos and evaluation, each one correspond with one specific objective related with contents presentation, handling solving exercises tools and analytic solutions tools, explanatory multimedia material and an evaluative mechanism. The Deliver by Steps Model for Cycle of Software Life was used, this model helps the developing visibility for the final users and facilitates a feedback of them, this way allows to minimize risks and it gives opportunities of reviewing in each step, besides it keeps the modularity in each one of the steps. The educative software as a final product was tested and used by students of the subject Statistics II included into the studies plan of Systems and Computer Science Engineering, in the first academic period in 2007, by doing this, the author of the project got a feedback by final users of the product, it is actually necessary for making changes and improvements, all of these very usefull for the development of future versions. | |
