dc.description.abstract	En este trabajo se presenta la caracterización del estado de la infraestructura vial terciaria del departamento de Santander. Para realizar dicha caracterización se usó información perteneciente al Plan de Desarrollo Departamental 2020-2023, así como de algunos planes viales regionales y diferentes bases de datos de entidades gubernamentales encargadas de las infraestructuras de transporte en el país como lo son, el INVIAS, el departamento de planeación nacional DPN y el ministerio de transporte de Colombia que sirvieron para obtener la información necesaria. Este libro contiene una categorización de la superficie de rodadura en función de la cantidad de kilómetros totales que se encuentran en los diferentes tipos de materiales y su estado actual al igual que la revisión de datos correspondiente a los flujos vehiculares existentes en el departamento de Santander; con dicha información se generó un análisis que permitió identificar los costos de operación vehicular para los diferentes tipos de vehículos que circulan por la red terciaria, Además de una comparativa sobre el ahorro en el valor por kilómetro recorrido por los distintos vehículos si las vías fueran mejoradas. Lo anterior permitió identificar de forma más clara la cantidad de kilómetros de red vial terciaria que requieren de intervención estatal para lograr un estado de transitividad óptimo. Ya que, uno de los principales inconvenientes relacionados con este tipo de vías es la falta de inventarios actualizados; también se identificaron, limitaciones y las desventajas económicas por la circulación por la red terciaria en Santander.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This work presents the characterization of the state of the tertiary road infrastructure of the Santander department. This characterization used information belonging to the Departmental Development Plan 2020-2023, as well as some regional road plans and different databases of government entities responsible for transport infrastructures in the country such as INVIAS, the DPN national planning department and the Colombian ministry of transport that served to obtain the necessary information. This book contains a categorization of the rolling surface according to the number of total kilometers found in the different types of materials and their current status as well as the review of data corresponding to the vehicle flows existing in Santander department; This information generated an analysis that identified vehicle operating costs for the different types of vehicles operating on the tertiary network, as well as a comparison on the value savings per kilometer travelled by different vehicles if the tracks were improve. This made it possible to identify more clearly the number of kilometers of tertiary road network requiring state intervention to achieve an optimal state of transitivity. Since, one of the main drawbacks related to this type of route is the lack of updated inventories; limitations and economic disadvantages due to movement through the tertiary network in Santander were also identified.
