| dc.description.abstract | El desarrollo de tecnologías basadas en la Web, ha provocado que empresas, e instituciones muestren un gran interés por tener y mantener su presencia en este medio masivo de comunicación. Para esto se desarrollan sitios Web, Intranets, Extranets. Por estas razones la Escuela de Diseño Industrial de la Universidad Industrial de Santander muestra interés en entrar a formar parte de estos adelantos tecnológicos, y de ponerlos a disposición de la comunidad académica. Con la implementación del portal Web de la Escuela de Diseño Industrial se quiere motivar al estudiantado a identificarse más con su escuela y a formar parte de los eventos que la escuela promocione a través de los diferentes módulos del portal. Es así como a través del presente proyecto se da el primer paso en desarrollo de un portal basado en tecnología Web para la consulta, manejo y administración de la información relacionada con la escuela de diseño Industrial de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. El proyecto fue desarrollado bajo la metodología del Proceso Unificado de Desarrollo de Software, la cual permitió llevar a cabo de una manera clara el análisis, diseño, elaboración y construcción del mismo. El Lenguaje Unificado de Modelado (UML) se utilizó como herramienta de documentación para las actividades descritas por la metodología. El Portal Web para la Escuela de Diseño Industrial fue desarrollado para funcionar bajo el ambiente Web, Los lenguajes utilizados para su desarrollo fueron: Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), JavaScript , Ajax y Hiper Text Marking Languaje (HTML). | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The development of technologies based on the Web, has caused that companies, and institutions show a great interest to have and to maintain their presence in this massive means of communication. For this they are developed to Web sites, Intranets, Extranets. For these reasons the School of Industrial Design of the Industrial University of Santander shows interest in entering to comprise of these technological advances, and to put them to disposition of the academic community. With the implementation of the Web Site of the School of Industrial Design it is wanted to motivate to the students to identify themselves with his school and to more comprise of the events that the school promotes through the different modules from the Web Site. It is as well as through present project Web for the consultation, handling and information management occurs to the first developing step of a Web Site based on technology related to the school of Industrial design of the Industrial University of Santander. The project was developed under the methodology of the Unified Process of Development of Software, which allowed to carry out of a clear way the analysis, design, elaboration and construction of he himself. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used like tool of documentation for the activities described by the methodology. The Web Site for the School of Industrial Design was developed to work under the ambient Web, the languages used for its development were: Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), Javascript, Ajax and Hiper Text Marking Languaje (HTML). | |
