The use of the equipment, over time, have experienced physical chan- ges and their utility has decreased This degree work is aimed at using those measurement equipment, who have not been employed in the corona effect practice of LAT, because several of these measu- rement equipment was not available or had no use in another practice; causing the reinstatement of the equipment to complement the subject matter covered by corona effect. The methodology proposed in the teacher’s final report Julio Rugeles was imple- mented to measure current in the coaxial configuration of the laboratory, therefore, the operation of the equipment associated with the practice was verified in order to take the corresponding measures. This practice is expected to be part of the labo- ratory tests for students, in order to develop measurement techniques and enhance understanding of the corona effect; allowing better training in the field of high voltage, consolidating the theoretical foundations of this discipline.
