dc.description.abstract	Tecnología Para la Industria de Alimentos Ltda. es una empresa santandereana dedicada Elaboración, manufactura, comercialización, importación y exportación de maquinaria y accesorios para la industria alimenticia, tiene la necesidad de buscar herramientas que ayude al control, planeación y ejecución de las actividades enfocadas a mejorar la productividad, así generar una ventaja competitiva sobre la competencia. El propósito de este proyecto es el mejoramiento de los procesos productivos de la empresa, para el cual se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual que permitió identificar los puntos críticos, en los cuales se enfocan las estrategias de mejora. El documento se encuentra divido en 7 capítulos así: Capitulo 1 se dan las especificaciones generales del proyecto. Capítulo 2 se hace una descripción de la empresa identificando claramente su misión visión, portafolio de productos, materias primas e insumos entre otros. Capítulo 3 con base en los documentos realizados por varios autores se hace un marco teórico en donde se identifican los pasos a seguir para identificar y dar solución a los procesos productivos en cualquier empresa en este caso específico TECALIMENTOS LTDA. Capítulo 4 se plantea la situación actual de la empresa en donde se describen los procesos productivos, los centros de trabajo, la distribución de la planta. Capítulo 5 se identifican las falencias y a su vez se proponen algunas estrategias de mejora. Capítulo 6 se presenta el diseño e implementación de las mejoras aplicando las técnicas de 5´S y el estudio de tiempos. Capítulo 7 se encuentran los indicadores de gestión que permite medir y controlar los procesos. Finalmente, se encuentran las conclusiones de los resultados alcanzados en el desarrollo del proyecto y las recomendaciones.

The purpose or this project is the improvement of the productive process in the company, for which it made a diagnostic of the current situation that allowed to identify the critics points in which it focus the improvement strategies. The letter it finds divided in 7 chapters: Chapter 1 you find the general specifications of the project. Chapter 2 it makes a description of the company, identifying clearly its mission and vision. The products briefcase, raw materials and imputs, In the Chapter 3 with base in the letters that have been written for several members, it makes a theorycal framework. Where you can identify the steps that you must to follow for identify and give a solution to the productive process in any company, in this specific case TECALIMENTOS Ltda. In the chapter 4 it raises the current situation of the company, where the productive process is describe, the work centers and the distribution of the plant. In the chapter 5 you find the weaks and the same time you find some improvement strategies. In the chapter 6 it presents the design and the implementation of the improves . In the chapter 7 you find the indicators of the Move That let measure and control the process. Finally, you find the conclusions of the results reached in the development of the project and the advices of the project.
