dc.description.abstract	El municipio de Pailitas se encuentra localizado en la subregión Centro del Departamento del Cesar. Pailitas limita al Norte con el municipio de Chimichagua, al Sur con el municipio de Pelaya, al Este con el Departamento de Norte de Santander y al Oeste con el municipio de Tamalameque. Se encuentra a una distancia de 203 kilómetros de la capital, Valledupar. Tiene una extensión de 512.5 kms2. El municipio de Pailitas tenía en el año 2005 una población total de 15.902 habitantes, de los cuales 11.669 (73,4%) se ubicaban en la cabecera municipal y 4.233 habitantes en la zona rural (26,6%). La administración anterior estuvo interesada en llevar tecnología de punta a la alcaldía e implementar la sistematización de la misma, es por este motivo que analizamos el sistema actual de organización y archivo de la información logrando diseñar e implementar un módulo de software para el control del Archivo Municipal llamado JAVASCANNER, facilitando su conservación, organización y consulta, en busca de ofrecer un mejor servicio a la comunidad se creó el sistema de información WEB SINFOFAM (sistema de información familiar) el cual busca disminuir la duplicidad en los programas ofrecidos por el gobierno nacional, Departamental y Municipal; y el montaje y configuración de la infraestructura de la red de datos de la Alcaldía pues no se contaba con este recurso.

ABSTRACT Pailitas Township is located in the subregion Center Department of Cesar. Pailitas bordered to the north Chimichagua Township, on the south by the municipality of Pelaya, east of the North Santander Department and to the west with the town of Tamalameque. It is at a distance of 203 kilometers from the Capital, Valledupar. It has an area of 512.5 km2. Pailitas Township in 2005 had a total population of 15,902 inhabitants, of which 11,669 (73.4%) were located in the municipal and 4233 inhabitants in rural (26.6%). The previous administration was interested in bringing technology to the mayor and implement the systematization of it, is for this reason that we analyze the current system of organizing and managing information file design and implement a software module for controlling Municipal Archive facilitating their preservation, organization and consultation, in search to give of better service to the community was created WEB information system SINFOFAM (family information system) which objects is to reduce duplication in the programs offered by the Departmental, Provincial and Municipal Government; and installation and configuration of the network infrastructure of the Municipality data were not available for this resource.
