dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad demostrar la viabilidad en la creación de una comercializadora de repuestos e insumos marca Caterpillar (CAT) para maquinaria pesada en la ciudad de Barrancabermeja y el Magdalena Medio, con miras a mejorar las condiciones socioeconómicas de la región, ofreciendo una empresa que genere desarrollo y crecimiento económico. En Barrancabermeja la circulación de maquinaria pesada ha tenido un crecimiento significativo en los últimos años debido al auge petrolero y a los diferentes proyectos industriales de la región del Magdalena Medio, de igual forma se ha podido observar que la maquinaria que circula corresponden a la marca Caterpillar y que actualmente la ciudad no cuenta con un proveedor local que suministre estos repuestos. Por tal razón se llevo a cabo un análisis que permitiera determinar el tipo de maquinaria que circula, los repuestos e insumos que requieren para su operación, precios, canales de comercialización, cantidad y frecuencia de compra de estos repuestos en Barrancabermeja. Hecho lo anterior se estableció que comercialmente el proyecto es factible teniendo en cuenta que existe una demanda potencial alta, la necesidad cada día más recurrente de repuestos e insumos para esta maquinaria debido al desarrollo de los diferentes proyectos y mega proyectos en la región y que no hay oferentes en el municipio de Barrancabermeja que suministren de forma inmediata estos repuestos. En conclusión se presenta que el proyecto de investigación es favorable tanto ambiental, económica y socialmente, así mismo se asegura que es viable para inversión económica y se propone realizar su ejecución.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This project has as purpose of demonstrating the viability in the creation of a marketer of spare parts and supplies brand Caterpillar (CAT) for heavy machinery in the city of Barrancabermeja, and Magdalena Medio, with a view to improving the socio-economic conditions of the region, offering a business to generate economic growth and development. In Barrancabermeja, the movement of heavy machinery has had a significant growth in recent years due to the oil boom and the various industrial projects in the region of the Middle Magdalena Region, in the same way it has been observed that the machinery that circulates correspond to the Caterpillar brand and that currently, the city does not have a local supplier to provide these parts. For this reason it is carried out an analysis to determine the type of machinery that circulates, spare parts and supplies required for their operation, prices, marketing channels, quantity and frequency of purchase of these spare parts in Barrancabermeja. This is done it was established that commercially the project is feasible taking into account that there is a potential demand high, the need each day most recurrent spare parts and inputs for this machinery due to the development of the different projects and mega projects in the region and that there is no bidders in the municipality of Barrancabermeja to provide immediately these spare parts. In conclusion, it is submitted that the research project is therefore favorable environmental, economic and socially, as well as ensures that it is viable for economic investment and intends to make its implementation.
