dc.description.abstract	El departamento de Santander, cuna de la libertad de Colombia cuenta con un gran potencial turístico e histórico hecho que le ha valido ser el foco de implementación de diversas iniciativas de desarrollo económico lideradas principalmente por la Cámara de Comercio de Bucaramanga (CCB), institución que ha trabajado mancomunadamente con diferentes entidades tanto oficiales como privadas por el crecimiento turístico del departamento evolucionando a través de los años en múltiples estrategias de fortalecimiento de este sector derivando finalmente en la iniciativa “Clúster de Turismo de Santander”, siendo la sexta estrategia de esta índole liderada por esta entidad contando para su surgimiento con el apoyo de iNNpulsa Colombia. No obstante, la figura de clúster turismo de Santander no se encuentra aun socialmente conocida o propiamente documentada, hecho que obstaculiza su consolidación y se convierte en la motivación primordial de la presente investigación cuyo principal objetivo consiste en apoyar con bases teóricas su formalización. En primera instancia se lleva a cabo una inmersión inicial que permite reconocer las características propias de los clústeres, para posteriormente ser adaptada al sector turístico. Aunado a lo anterior se categorizan los actores pertenecientes al clúster del departamento para finalmente, mediante la indagación de proyectos y estrategias alrededor del turismo de Santander conjunto a la realización de una evaluación que permita identificar la etapa del ciclo de vida en la cual se encuentra, se logre estimar los alcances del clúster turístico de Santander para los próximos 3 años.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The department of Santander, the cradle of Colombia's freedom, has great tourist and the historical potential fact that has made it the focus of implementation of many economic development initiatives led mainly by the Cámara de Comercio de Bucaramanga, an institution that has worked hand to hand with different entities, both official and private, due to the tourist growth of the department, evolving through the years in multiple strategies to strengthen this sector, finally resulting in the initiative "Santander Tourism Cluster", being the sixth strategy of this kind led by this entity whose being support by INNpulsa Colombia on its emergence. However, this strategy has not yet been properly documented hindering its consolidation, a fact that motivates this research, whose main goal is to provide the theoretical bases that contribute to its formalization. In the first instance, an initial immersion is carried out that allows recognizing the characteristics of the clusters, to later be adapted to the tourism sector. In addition to the above, the actors belonging to the department's cluster are categorized, and finally, through the investigation of projects and strategies around the tourism of Santander, together to carry out an evaluation that allows identifying the stage of the life cycle in which it is located, It is possible to estimate the scope of the Santander tourism cluster for the next 3 years.
