dc.description.abstract	La finalidad de este trabajo fue realizar un estudio de petrografía estructural en la parte central del Macizo de Santander, haciendo énfasis en la descripción de las texturas y mecanismos de deformación generados por el trazo de la falla La Perezosa, la cual corta el área del Proyecto Angostura, conectando el sistema de fallas Romeral – Cucutilla y La Baja – Angostura. A través de esta herramienta se estableció que los principales mecanismos de deformación presentes en el sector están relacionados con: recristalización dinámica, recuperación, cataclasis y deslizamiento friccional, procesos de dislocación y maclado mecánico; registrados en cristales de cuarzo y feldespatos; lo cual indica que las temperaturas de deformación se encontraban por debajo de los 400°C. Aprovechando esta información y asumiendo un gradiente geotérmico para el sector de 300°C/Km, se puede sugerir que la profundidad de deformación se encontraba alrededor de 1 a 2 kilómetros. Por otra parte, se utilizaron los indicadores cinemáticos para precisar los principales ejes de esfuerzo y determinar la cinemática de la falla. Además se estableció la relación que tiene con el emplazamiento de los trenes mineralizados.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The purpose of this work was to study structural petrography in the central part of the Santander Massif, emphasizing the description of textures and deformation mechanisms generated by the stroke of The Perezosa fault, which cuts the Project area Angostura connecting Romeral-Cucutilla and La Baja – Angostura systems. Through this tool was established that the main deformation mechanisms present in the sector are related to: dynamic recrystallization, recovery, cataclasis and frictional sliding, dislocation and mechanical processes twinned; recorded in quartz and feldspar crystals, which indicates that deformation temperatures are below 400°C. Taking this information and assuming a geothermal gradient for the sector of 300° C/km, it can be suggested that the depth of deformation was around 1-2 kilometers. On the other hand, kinematic indicators define the principal axes of stress and determine the kinematics of the fault. Also was established the relationship with the location of the mineralized train.
