dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto tiene como propósito diseñar y probar un sistema de costos en la empresa Mediimplantes S.A. con el fin de aportar a la gerencia una herramienta que apoye el proceso de toma de decisiones. Para desarrollar este proyecto inicialmente se llevó a cabo un reconocimiento general de la empresa y de los procesos productivos con el fin de obtener las características de fabricación de esta y determinar el sistema de costos a diseñar. Este proyecto describe la metodología para el diseño de un sistema de costeo basado en el modelo de costos por actividades (ABC) en una empresa manufacturera dedicada a la fabricación de dispositivos médicos, con el fin de determinar costos unitarios más exactos y que presten información oportuna. El libro consta de cinco capítulos, el primero encierra las generalidades del proyecto, incluyendo la metodología desarrollada; en el capítulo dos se encuentra el marco contextual donde se describe a la empresa, marco conceptual, marco teórico y marco legal; en el capítulo tres se presenta la descripción de los procesos y productos; en el capítulo cuatro describe la metodología para el diseño de un sistema de costos basado en actividades y el capítulo cinco muestra el modelo dinámico de costos diseñado así como los resultados obtenidos de la prueba piloto. 1
dc.description.abstractenglish	This project aims to design and test a system costs in the business MediimplantesS.A. to provide management with a tool to support the decision making process. To develop this project, it was required a general knowledge of the company and production processes in order to obtain the construction characteristics of this and determine the cost system design for the employee in the MEDIIMPLANTES. This project describes the methodology for designing a costing system based on the model of costs by activity (ABC) in a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of medical devices in order to determine unit costs to provide accurate and timely information. The book consists of five chapters; the first contains an overview of the project, including the methodology developed; in chapter two is the contextual framework which describes the company, conceptual framework, theoretical framework and legal framework; in chapter Three the description of the processes and products; in chapter four describes the methodology for the design of a system of activity based costing and Chapter five shows the dynamic model designed and cost results of the pilot.
