In particular, the present article aims to explain and analyze the incursion of the Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC) in the municipality of Tibú in 1999, the facts of which show the favoring of the paramilitary device in the regulatory design and in the practices of the State armed forces, which was decisive for the consolidation of paramilitarism in the Catatumbo region. | en-US |
