dc.description.abstract	La implementación de edificaciones sostenibles se muestra como una de las principales medidas para mitigar el deterioro del planeta generado por la industria de la construcción. Sin embargo, debido a que es un tema en auge, existe desconocimiento por parte de las empresas constructoras al momento de realizar el diseño y construcción de dichas edificaciones. Por tal motivo se ha planteado la siguiente pregunta ¿Qué mecanismo se podría implementar para facilitar la aplicación de medidas sostenibles en el desarrollo de este tipo de proyectos? En este contexto se ha pretendido proponer una herramienta enfocada en el sistema de toma de decisiones, la cual consiste en seleccionar una ruta de acción entre alternativas. Por tanto, se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica con el fin de determinar criterios a tener en cuenta, además de metodologías implementadas al momento de realizar el diseño de una construcción sostenible. Por otra parte, se ha recopilado información por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas para identificar variables que actualmente fundamentan el desarrollo de proyectos sostenibles en el área metropolitana de Bucaramanga. A partir de la información recolectada se agruparon los datos en diferentes ejes temáticos, mediante el cual se logró generar un diagrama de flujo en forma de esquema general. Se ha podido determinar que en el contexto colombiano existen tres metodologías que permiten alcanzar la sostenibilidad, las cuales están dadas por las certificaciones: EDGE, LEED y CASA Colombia. Por otra parte, se ha evidenciado el factor económico es uno de los más influyentes al momento de implementar medidas sostenibles. La investigación permitió realizar una guía documentada por medio de una cartilla con los procesos de selección de criterios sostenibles. La cual servirá de apoyo para futuras investigaciones y proyectos acerca de la sostenibilidad en la construcción de edificaciones residenciales en la Región.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The implementation of sustainable buildings is presented as one of the main measures to mitigate the planet's deterioration caused by the construction industry. However, because it is a growing topic, there is a lack of knowledge on the part of construction companies when it comes to designing and constructing such buildings. For this reason, the following question has been raised: What mechanism could be implemented to facilitate the application of sustainable measures in the development of these types of projects? In this context, an approach has been made to propose a tool focused on the decision-making system, which involves selecting a course of action among alternatives. Therefore, a literature search has been conducted to determine criteria to consider, as well as methodologies implemented when designing a sustainable construction. Furthermore, information has been collected through semi-structured interviews to identify variables that currently underpin the development of sustainable projects in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga. Based on the collected information, data has been grouped into different thematic axes, resulting in the creation of a flowchart in the form of a general outline. It has been determined that in the Colombian context, there are three methodologies that enable sustainability, provided by the certifications: EDGE, LEED, and CASA Colombia. Additionally, it has been evident that the economic factor is one of the most influential when implementing sustainable measures. The research has allowed the creation of a documented guide in the form of a booklet with the processes for selecting sustainable criteria. This guide will serve as support for future research and projects regarding sustainability in the construction of residential buildings in the region.
