dc.description.abstract	“Huella automotriz: memoria e identidad en el automóvil” es un proyecto de creación artística que explora la relación entre el ser humano y el vehículo automotriz como un espacio de construcción identitaria. A partir de la investigación y recolección de autopartes intervenidas, se analizan las prácticas de personalización vehicular como manifestaciones culturales influenciadas por el contexto social. Mediante el uso de materiales industriales y piezas reales, el proyecto desarrolla una instalación artística en la que las autopartes son restauradas y recontextualizadas, evidenciando las huellas de uso y apropiación inscritas en ellas. De este modo, el automóvil es abordado como un soporte simbólico que trasciende su función utilitaria, configurándose como un archivo material de memoria e identidad en el contexto colombiano.
dc.description.abstractenglish	“Automotive Footprint: Memory and Identity in the Automobile” is an artistic research project that explores the relationship between human beings and motor vehicles as a space for identity construction. Through the research and collection of modified auto parts, the project examines vehicle customization practices as cultural manifestations shaped by the social context. Using industrial materials and real components, the project develops an art installation in which auto parts are restored and recontextualized, highlighting the traces of use and appropriation embedded within them. In this way, the automobile is approached as a symbolic medium that transcends its utilitarian function, emerging as a material archive of memory and identity within the Colombian context.
