dc.description.abstract	En Internet se pueden encontrar páginas web que presentan información sobre fisiología vegetal y ayudan a resolver preguntas sobre el funcionamiento de las plantas y el funcionamiento de los ecosistemas terrestres para la producción de alimentos. Sin embargo, la comunidad científica de investigadores latinoamericanos en esta área de la biología, que ha aumentado en las últimas décadas, no cuenta con una plataforma web que les permita interactuar directamente y socializar las investigaciones realizadas, tampoco pueden compartir eventos científicos y artículos publicados en revistas. Este proyecto fue desarrollado con el fin de crear un portal web que permita a la comunidad de práctica virtual enlazar investigadores en fisiología vegetal de Latinoamérica. La plataforma web fue desarrollada con el patrón de arquitectura modelo, vista, controlador y con las tecnologías de desarrollo Angular, Node JS y MySQL. Con la ejecución de este trabajo, se creó un portal web para la comunidad científica de fisiología vegetal de América Latina en la cual podrán interactuar y discutir sobre temas afines a el área. Además, se constató que la metodología RUP utilizada en este proyecto, es flexible y se adapta a las necesidades específicas de la plataforma, permitiendo un desarrollo ágil y satisfactorio de todas las funcionalidades propuestas para la comunidad virtual.
dc.description.abstractenglish	On the internet can be find web pages that present information about plant phisiology can be found on the internet and they help to solve questions about the functioning of plants and terrestrial ecosystems for production of food. However, the scientific community of latin americans researchplataform that allows them to interact directly and socialize investigations they have carried out, nor they can share scientific events and published articles on papers. This project was develop with the purpose of creating a web portal that allows the virtual practice community to connect plant phisiology researchers of Latin America. This web plataform was develop model, view, controller with the Angular and Node JS development technologies. With the execution of this project a web portal was created for the plant phisiology scientific community of Latin America where they will be able to interact and discuss about topics related to this field. In addition, it was found that the RUP methodology used in this project, is flexible and it adapted to the specific needs of the platform, allowing an agile and satisfactory development of all the functionalities proposed for the virtual community.
