dc.description.abstract	El trabajo presentado surge a partir de la necesidad que se tiene en el laboratorio de Análisis Petrofísicos el cual no cuenta con un equipo para construir tapones sintéticos, es por eso que se procede a diseñar el Plug Maker, que es un equipo práctico, sencillo y dinámico que permite a los usuarios diseñar y construir diferentes configuraciones de tapones sintéticos para su posterior uso en el laboratorio, siendo útiles al momento de realizar las diferentes pruebas y conocer los diferentes equipos y procedimientos disponibles equipo empleado en pruebas de arenas de fundición que compacta material a granel por caída libre y con gran aplicación para determinar la compactibilidad de arenas para ser analizadas en laboratorios de Ingeniería Metalúrgica como parte práctica de algunas asignaturas. Posterior a la construcción del equipo, se construyen diferentes tapones sintéticos con distintas configuraciones de arenas y endurecedor o arenas, endurecedor y agentes reductores de permeabilidad los cuales se encuentran en registros tomados durante el proceso, y son mostrados uno a uno en el libro, resultando exitoso el trabajo realizado, es posible implementar esta nueva práctica a la asignatura de Análisis Petrofísicos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The work presented arises from the need in the Petrophysics Analysis laboratory which does not have a team to build synthetic plugs, that is why we proceed to design the Plug Maker, which is a practical, simple and dynamic equipment that allows users to design and build different configurations of synthetic plugs for later use in the laboratory, being useful at the time of performing the different tests and knowing the different equipment and procedures available in it. The design of the equipment was based on the principle of operation of the "315 Sand Rammer", equipment used in tests of foundry sands that compacts bulk material by free fall and with great application to determine the compactibility of sands to be analyzed in laboratories of Metallurgical Engineering as a practical part of some subjects. After the construction of the equipment, different synthetic plugs are constructed with different configurations of sands and hardener or sands, hardener and permeability reducing agents which are found in records taken during the process, and are shown one by one in the book, resulting in a successful work done, it is possible to implement this new practice to the Petrophysical Analysis subject.
