| dc.description.abstract | En el presente trabajo se estudian las rocas metamórficas de la Serranía de San Lucas ubicadas en la plancha 64 del IGAC, en la cual afloran las unidades Neis de San Lucas y Esquistos de Armenia, la primera consiste de neises cuarzo-feldespáticos con biotita y hornblenda, hornbléndicos, metagabros y granulitas, estas últimas no habían sido identificadas en trabajos anteriores. En los esquistos de Armenia se determinaron dos protolitos uno calco-silicatado que dio lugar a esquistos cuarzo-feldespáticos hacia el techo de la unidad y otro pelítico con esquistos micáceos con andalucita y grafito hacia la base. Las condiciones de metamorfismo se establecieron para cada unidad teniendo en cuenta la historia reaccional y de equilibrio de las paragénesis; en el Neis de San Lucas predominan asociaciones de Hbl+Pl+Qtz, Hbl+Bt+Pl, la cuales indican facie anfibolita zona de la silimanita. Las granulitas presentan asociaciones Opx+Cpx+Pl, la cual corresponde a la zona de las granulitas piroxenicas de intermedia presión. Por otra parte los metagabros presentan asociaciones Hbl+Ep+Bt+Qtz, las cuales son características de la facie epidota-anfibolita. En las rocas calco-silicatadas de los Esquistos de Armenia se identificaron asociaciones Ep+Bt+Act+Qtz, Ep+Bt+Pl+Qtz, Hbl+Ep+Czo, para las cuales se determinaron condiciones de facie esquistos verdes zona de la biotita y facie epidota-anfibolita, para las rocas pelíticas se identificaron asociaciones And+Bt y Ms+Bt las cuales corresponden a facie anfibolita zona de la andalucita. Las trayectorias P-T son aproximadas y se establecieron de acuerdo a las paragénesis minerales y la historia reaccional y evidencias texturales. De acuerdo a lo anterior la trayectoria seguida por el Neis de San Lucas indica una serie de Media P/T típica de gradiente Barroviense y ambientes de colisión continental. La trayectoria seguida por los Esquistos de Armenia indica una serie de Baja P/T en zonas donde hay calentamiento a bajas profundidades en ambientes de colisión continental. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | In this work are studied the metamorphic rocks of the Serranía de San Lucas wich are located in the topographic map 64 of the IGAC, in this terrain wich outcrop the Neis de San Lucas and the Esquistos de Armenia units, the first consist of quartz-feldespatic gneisses with biotite and hornblende, hornblendic gneisses, metagabros and granulites, the last one hadn´t been identified in previous works. In the Esquistos de Armenia are determinated two protolits, one calc-silicated that gave place to quartz-feldespatic schists towards the top of the unit and other pelitic with mica schist with andalusite and graphite towards the base. The metamorphic conditions were established for each unit taking into account the reactional history and equilibrium conditions of the assemblages; in the Neis de San Lucas the mineral assemblages Hbl+Pl+Qtz, Hbl+Bt+Pl, which indicate metamorphic conditions in the sillimanite zone (amphibolite facies). The granulites show associations Opx+Cpx+Pl, that corresponds to the piroxenic granulites zone of intermediate pressure. On the other hand the metagabros show associations of Hbl+Ep+Bt+Qtz, which are characteristics for the epidote- amphibolite facie. In the calc-silicated rocks of the Esquistos de Armenia were identified associations Ep+Bt+Act+Qtz, Ep+Bt+Pl+Qtz, Hbl+Ep+Czo, in which correspond to conditions of greenschist facie, biotite zone and epidote-amphibolite facie , for the pelitic rocks are identified associations And+Bt y Ms+Bt which correspond to amphibolite facie, andalusite zone. The P-T paths are approximated and established agree with the mineral assemblages, the reactional history and the textural evidences. According to the last part the path followed by the Neis de San Lucas indicate a middle P/T serie typical of Barrovian gradient and continental collision environments. The path followed by the Esquistos de Armenia indicate a Low P/T path serie in zones where there is shallow heating in continental colision enviroments | |
